Which iPhones support eSIM?

The iPhone XR and XS and everything newer, including both eSIM-capable iPhone SE models. That is a fact about the hardware.

The iPhone X, the 8 and anything older have no eSIM at all, and nothing we sell will work on them.

The one-tap install button on the order page needs iOS 17.4 or later. Older iPhones with eSIM use the QR code or the manual details instead.

How do I check whether my phone supports eSIM?

Look for the option to add one. iPhone: Settings → Mobile Service (Cellular on some versions) → Add eSIM. Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM. If that option exists, the phone supports eSIM.

Two things have to be true, and this is only the first. The phone also has to be unlocked, which no phone will tell you from its settings.

Check both before you buy. An eSIM installs once, and a phone that cannot take it has already spent your purchase.

What if my phone does not support eSIM?

Then nothing we sell will work on it. There is no adapter and no workaround: the chip has to be in the phone.

You can install the plan on a different eSIM-capable phone and use that one for data, then share it to your own phone over a personal hotspot, which every plan allows.

Check before you pay. If you have bought and not installed, we refund in full on request.

How do I install an eSIM on an iPhone?

If your iPhone is on iOS 17.4 or later, open your order page on that iPhone and tap the install button. iOS takes over and does the rest.

Otherwise use the QR code: Settings → Mobile Service (called Cellular on some versions) → Add eSIM → Use QR Code, then point the camera at the code on another screen.

If the iPhone you are installing on is the one showing the code, take a screenshot of it first. When the eSIM setup asks you to scan, choose that picture from your photos instead.

Do this on wifi, before you fly. An eSIM installs once, so do not delete it afterwards.
